In the summer of 2012 Wine Country Culinary Institute expanded our catering capabilities. The program rolled out a food truck trailer purchased at auction, attached to a retrofitted ambulance that hauls it from site to site. Painted on the truck are logos for both the college’s student-run catering service through Titus Creek, and the Wine Country Culinary Institute name and website. Besides being able to draw customers, a food truck gives students practical experience preparing dishes from a daily menu. Students staff the truck, taking orders and preparing food to order, giving them a unique and real life work experience all the while showcasing the program’s name and variety. Whether it’s a wine maker’s dinner in the middle of a vineyard or a tasting room shin-dig in downtown Walla Walla, the Titus Creek Food truck brings the diversity of our continuously changing menu to our customers in a convenient package.
